Cancellation Process

To cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email to [email protected]. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. The cancellation date is determined by when we receive your written notice, not when you sent it. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation within 24 hours. Refunds will be processed within 14-21 business days of cancellation confirmation.

Deposit and Payment

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is subject to the cancellation policy outlined above. The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in automatic cancellation with full deposit forfeiture.

Rescheduling Your Trip

If you need to reschedule rather than cancel, we offer flexible options. Rescheduling requests made more than 60 days before departure incur a 10% administrative fee. Your payment can be transferred to a new date within 12 months of the original booking. Rescheduling less than 60 days before departure is subject to standard cancellation fees plus rebooking charges.

Force Majeure and Emergencies

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, war, government travel restrictions), we will work with you to reschedule your trip or provide credit for future travel. No cash refunds are provided in force majeure situations. Emergency cancellations due to serious illness or death in the family will be considered on a case-by-case basis with appropriate documentation.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. Insurance can protect you from cancellation fees in covered circumstances. Please review your insurance policy carefully to understand what is covered. Dream Team Adventure is not responsible for insurance claims or coverage disputes.

Company-Initiated Cancellations

If Dream Team Adventure cancels your trip due to insufficient bookings (minimum 4 participants required), safety concerns, or operational reasons, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, or option to transfer to an alternative date. We are not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred (flights, visas, etc.). We will notify you at least 21 days before departure if cancellation is necessary.

Important Notes

  • Cancellation fees are calculated from the total trip cost, including any supplements or add-ons
  • Refunds are processed using the original payment method
  • Bank charges and currency conversion fees are non-refundable
  • Partial cancellations (reducing group size) may incur additional fees
  • Changing from one trip type to another is treated as a cancellation and new booking
  • No refunds for unused services, early departure, or missed activities during the trip
