Climb through heath and moorland with spectacular views. Arrive at Saddle Hut with time to rest before the summit push. Optional afternoon acclimatization hike to Little Meru.

Shorter hiking day with afternoon for acclimatization. Explore Little Meru (3,820 m) for better altitude adaptation.
